We are a Family Business located almost exactly 100 miles East of Columbus Ohio, 100 miles South of Cleveland Ohio and 100 miles West of Pittsburg Pennsylvania. The area is part of the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, hence the name of our business “Appalachian Ancestry”. Our business grows out of an interest in Family History and Genealogy Research began almost 30 years ago.

Our mission is to promote Family Heritages and to strengthen the foundation of the Family. We believe the Family is the nucleus of our society and must be preserved and maintained. The need to belong to a group is a universal one and in today’s society, time is precious and the ability to provide loved ones with an understanding of their Family Heritage can be difficult. Many young people are longing to belong to something in the absence of the strong but fading Family units of yesteryear. Educating and teaching our young generation and other family members, can create a sense of belonging.

“Belonging” to a Family unit is promoted and nurtured by the products and services of Appalachian Ancestry by; Researching, Documenting, Preserving and Promoting your Family Heritage.
